The Department of Extension Education is at the forefront of cultivating practical skills essential for students to engage effectively with rural communities, particularly in agriculture. Under the $\text{V}^{\text{th}}$ Dean recommendation, UG courses are integrated with crucial elements of rural sociology and educational psychology, equipping students with the knowledge to interact efficiently with farming communities. Our curriculum encompasses the historical evolution of Extension Education, spanning pre and post-independence eras, while also embracing contemporary developments.Communication proficiency is our central approach to the cultivation of empowering students to articulate ideas effectively and bridge the gap between academia and grassroots realities. Through hands-on experience and theoretical insights, students focus on their abilities in crafting teaching aids tailored to diverse learning contexts. Our well-equipped laboratory serves as a hub for innovation, facilitating the creation of dynamic teaching materials to facilitate the transfer of technology. The department also runs course related to Entrepreneurship development and business communication which motivates students to take initiative and go for entrepreneurship. These all skills help them to work during RAWE, with farming community and also develop managerial skills to start and run an enterprise
